I am a self employed fraud investigator, working within the insolvency industry; currently working with Bretts Business Recovery; previously MHA MacIntyre Hudson, Bailey Ahmad Ltd and Maxwell Davies. I have a LLB (Hons) First Class and am CFE qualified (Certified Fraud Examiner) with over 30 years’ experience in fraud investigation. I have directly investigated, and supervised, cases where Disqualification Orders and Bankruptcy Restrictions Orders of over 10 years have been awarded. I have also dealt with financial recoveries in contentious cases in excess of £4,000,000. I am experienced manager with over 13 years of staff supervision, training and mentoring.Prior to being self employed I worked at Griffins Insolvency*Litigation*Forensics as an Investigator within their specialist Insolvency and Litigation Team, dealing with contentious insolvency case and fraud investigations. I left the Official Receiver's office as a Deputy Official Receiver in April 2011 having completed my Law Degree through the Open University in 2010.I am Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees of Citizens Advice Medway, previously Treasurer for 10 years, which celebrated 80 years of public service last year. This is a challenging role, but one which I have enjoyed and where I can contribute to my local community.
