Laboratory Strengthening Specialist
CurrentExperienced laboratory strengthening specialist with substantial experience in providing technical assistance to laboratories supporting the diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of Tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, and other diseases in public and private facility laboratories. I have over 17 years’ experience working with USAID/CDC implementing agencies supporting clinical and public health laboratories to deliver effective, accurate and evidence based diagnostic services in the implementation TB and HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and treatment services. Having worked with laboratories at all levels of health care delivery, I have had an opportunity to work with Provincial, District and facility laboratory staff supporting key aspects of laboratory services including Capacity building, quality assurance, commodity management, laboratory equipment management, development and management of sample referral systems, supporting accreditation process (SLIPTA), development and implementation of work plans and reporting writing both monthly and quarterly.
