The piles where hammered (with Menck hammer) down to app. 25-30 meter. - Performing Vessels inspections on behalf of Alcatel Submarine Net Works,- Training crews in working with DP during cable and ROV operations. Making all check list for the vessel, pre-arrival, on site check list, handing over the watch check list. Procedures for laying cable, handling the cable working with plough etcMarine Warranty Surveyor for clients onshore and offshore for various operations, and issuing CoA (Certificate of Approval). These operations includes Load out, Heavy lifts, Subsea operations,and transportation (sailaway)

I have worked as a pilot for a period of 7 years, with the last 5 years as an unrestricted FirstClass Pilot. In this time I was employed at DanPilot (Royal Danish Pilots), during this period I have worked as a harbour Pilot, in The Port Of Copenhagen. Throughout this period I have piloted a large variety of ships ranging from bulk carriers, tankers, bunker vessels, very large passenger ships, where I have worked with various propulsion systems including azi-pod propulsion. In the Port of Copenhagen we frequently use tugs (ASD and conventional), so I am used to working with these in various operations and conditions. The Port of Copenhagen has three anchorage areas which we also serve. Another aspect of my job in DanPilot was transit pilotage in the "Sound" a very narrow and shallow strait with a high density of traffic, where the southern part (Drogden) have a limiting depth of 8 meters, thus allowing us to pilot vessels to a maximum draught of 7.70 meters. I did also carry out transit pilotage, mainly on large tankers and bulk carriers with a draft of up to 15 meters between Bornholm (Eastern Baltic) through The Great Belt to the Skaw.
