In addition my attendance was required at client technical meetings where specialist input was required or programming issues that may impact on construction and commissioning were discussed.

Duties also included the testing and verification of all mechanical, electrical systems together with final inspections and commissioning through to the review of ‘as built’ and O&M information prior to handover to the client.

Together with process cooling & heating for 4 wind tunnels of which all can be regulated between -40o C and +55 C and between 300ft below sea level and 12,000 ft above with wind speeds upto 150mph. In addition to the above I was also was responsible for the interface coordination with dynamometers & their associated control systems and the altitude control system.Employed by the M&E consulting engineers and representing the client. The scope of work and responsibilities involved was from preparing the building services M&E design, compiling the specification, on site my role centered on primarily Project management included liaising between the main contractor and client, clarifying design issues, contract issues, monitoring costs and timing, ensuring coordination of services between mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and process interfaces.
