As a technologist with a passion for Mixed Reality I'm really excited to be unleashing the power of the Meta Quest and Microsoft HoloLens by creating BIM Holoview specifically for the AEC industry. Through accurate on-site holographic overlay of building plans, BIM and VDC Managers can easily visualize their 3D BIM models on-site, and verify placement of structural elements and services with contractors/sub-contractors.Our purpose at BIM Holoview is to improve productivity and reduce costs in construction processes - the goal being to help achieve a 50% reduction in rework costs. This is underpinned by our principles of building software that works - always, and supporting our customers no matter where in the world they are located. Of course, creating a product which gives you x-ray vision so you can see through walls, ceilings and floors is pretty cool too!
