Peter worked in the London Branch of the Scott Tallon Walker to be project architect for the Marks & Spencers Building in central Belfast, which included the restoration of the former Belfast Water Commissioners Building, which is a well known Listed Building.

In 1979 Peter joined Scott Tallon Walker, one of the leading Architectural Practices in Ireland, and worked in their Head Office in Dublin until 1982. During this period he was a member of a team working on the re-development of Dublin Docks.
