Mr. Nickerson is the co-founder and Principal of Chinus Asset Management.Pete is a fluent Mandarin speaker and has conducted business throughout Asia,including living for extended periods in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong,Taiwan, and Singapore. Prior to the launch of Chinus, Mr. Nickerson’s hadfounded and developed trading, investing and manufacturing businesses inHong Kong, China, Vietnam and India that currently generate just under $1billionof sales and directly employ over 85,000 people. Mr. Nickerson has built anextensive network in Asia through his role as director of Growth-Link OverseasCompany, a Hong Kong–based investment firm he co-founded in 1988. Mr.Nickerson has been involved in the Asian and American public and private equitymarkets over the past 4 decades. Mr. Nickerson currently serves as a boardmember for 2 publicly listed companies; Feng Tay Enterprises (TW9910) on theTaiwan Stock Exchange; and Cascade Corporation (CASC) on the NYSE. Mr.Nickerson is a 1979 graduate of University of Oregon.
