Case manager in the quota administration, which takes care of the daily interaction with nationaland international organizations regarding the administration of the European emissionstrading system (EU ETS) in Denmark. Issuance of emissions permits and control of monitoring plans and emission reportssubmitted by operators and verifiers concerning greenhouse gas emissions from Danish energysupply and energy-heavy industry covered by the EU ETS quota scheme. Special targeted focus within the introduction and use of biomass as fuel and process material,and systems for capturing, storing and utilization (CCUS) of carbon. Support in introduction and implementation of new regulations and directives in a national context such as the newly introduced European emissions trading system ETS2 concerning building, roadtransport and other industries, and the upcoming regulations on methane leakage monitoring and reporting. Contribute and participate in European technical expert working groups as a representative ofthe Danish Energy Agency.

 Responsible for evaluating the performance of the automatic processing system for hydroacoustic signals, propose improvements and reduce workload for human analysts of the data Conduct expert technical and special data analysis of particular hydroacoustic events detected by the automatic processing system Perform numerical modelling of global-scale seismo-acoustic signal propagation in complex underwater environments for signal analysis and interpretation Training in hydroacoustic signal processing to representatives from National Data Centres Scientific and technical support to external users of a virtual Data Exploration Centre regarding hydroacoustic data access and processing Communication with and support to national and regional authorities on the establishment of tsunami warning agreements based on the use of seismo-acoustic data for tsunami warning purposes Managing of two projects conducted by two external contractors on signal phase conversion at ocean-ground boundaries and three-dimensional ocean acoustic signal propagation modelling with the purpose of improving automatic signal processing Organize and convene scientific and technological workshops, symposia and conferences including authorship on scientific articles and presentations Presentation and reporting on project progress to stakeholders and national visitors

 Numerical modelling of underwater acoustic signal propagation and reverberation in support of anti-submarine warfare, mine countermeasure and environmental awareness Organize and conduct of at-sea experimentation typically in coordination with several national laboratories  Conduct research projects in improving sonar performance for anti-submarine warfare and mine countermeasure Propose research projects with the aim to improve detection, classification and localization of underwater targets using active and passive sonar systems Supervisor of visiting junior and senior scientists from national institutions Organize and convene scientific and technological workshops, symposia and conferences including authorship on scientific articles and presentations Presentation and reporting on project progress to stakeholders and national visitors
