Northedge was founded in 1995 as a consulting and training firm dedicated to the quality improvement of the public sector. Since then more than 500 assignments and courses have been undertaken in the Netherlands and abroad. More than half of them are in the field of quality management, planning and control, risk and oversight issues. The past few years Peter Noordhoek is leading a drive to improve the quality at sector level. He designs and implements audit and other systems at the level of a complete branch or professional association. His many activities have given him the experience to deal with sensitivities beyond general quality approaches.

Active as director Research and Quality for IVBB (ASQ), in particular active as leader of the Nationaal Association Survey of the Netherlands (NVO), a project done in cooperation with De Nederlandse Associatie (DNA).

Responsible for the content and further development and auditing of the standard NIS2 Quality Mark on behalf of the Foundation for Quality and Innovation.

DNA is the Dutch National Association of association executives and professionals. It provides a platform for leaders and professionals in professionals associations. In 2014 a Dutch delegation, of which I was part, visited the annual conference of the ASAE, the American Society of Association Executives. It became the inspiration for DNA.Part of the first full board, assigned with the creation and chairing of the taskforce international (unpaid).The first goal is to create a network of association professionals charged with international assignments. The second goal is to join and support the European and world wide community of associations.Initiative for DNA network of association professionals charged with legal tasks. Developing program and activities for the network.Active for ASAE, the American Society for Association Activities in its international activities, including credentialing and accreditation.

Member of the CDA, the Christian Democratic Party in the Netherlands. Active in many (background) positions. Trainer, analist and coach at local, regional, national and European level. Former campaign leader in 17 campaigns, at all levels. Trainer for CDA training institute and Eduardo Frei Foundation (EFF), with assignments throughout Central en East-Europe and North Africa, for Robert Schumann Institute (RSI), Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS), International Republican Institute (IRI) and National Democratic Institute (NDI). Participant in transatlantic conferences on international relations. Recent activities on European level: European elections 2019: advisor electoral platform, trainer EPP campaign, member CDA delegation EPP conferences (election Spitzenkandidaten, sanctioning).

Campaign leader for 17 campaigns at the local, regional, national and European level and internal elections within the Christian Democratic Party of the Netherlands (CDA) (chairman, vice chairman). Support for many other campaigns. Trainer and workshop leader in the Netherlands and abroad.

The Martens Centre for European Studies is the EU think tank and political foundation of the European People's Party, EPP. It serves as a platform for the scientific institutes and policy centers of the different member parties. In april 2014 appointed with one more co-auditor. In april 2016 reappointed as political (lead) auditor, with in addition to the team two more auditors.

De Beleidscoöperatie was opgericht om over organisatiegrenzen heen aan effectief beleid te werken. Een beleidscoöperatie wordt rond een probleem gevormd, waarna de deelnemers 'al lerend naar een de oplossing toe werken'. When there was a problem, we brought people together and helped to solve it through a longer term exchange of knowledge. The 'ownership' of the knowledge remains with the participants, we support the activity. If that sounds abstracts, wait till you see us working to get others to get things done. The co-operative has ended because of too many other activities.
