I hired six newsletters writers for our Daily Digest daily newspaper, The Weekly Rewind, a legislative and politics newsletter In Session and an occasional special projects newsletter The Big Scoop. I grew the subscriber base by 500 thus far, and sustained 20 percent open rates and 4 percent click-through rates, with larger margins on the speciality newsletters. I scheduled all the newsletters to our 6,000-strong subscriber base for the daily product. I also hosted weekly professional development for the staff, ranging from social media, leadership and writing.

Supervised a staff of 15-18 writers. As their supervisor, I accepted a blog pitch and a story pitch each week, making sure they were timely, local and digital-first. We worked with a CMS Camayak, and the back-end of the site was Wordpress.I attended daily budget meetings to plan out content and collaborate with other editors to coordinate story production.
