Assisted Phd and Master's students with two major projects in the labs at ASU (ISTB2). Under supervision of Dr. Hoover. The projects involve taking ground-up plastic/ground up ceramic as an aggregate base mixture to use with cement and water for an overall concrete mix that will adhere to a specific or needed strength (psi). Worked with the ceramic project mostly, by using sieve machines to extract each size of ceramic from 600 nm to 12.5 mm. Casted cylinder shaped concrete samples in the lab, and putting them under pressure for testing to understand fracture mechanics and the overall strength and energy of the concrete. Blended and sieved plastic and used it in a different mixture, pouring it into handmade molds. These pieces from the molds were studied and tested for overall strength and energy of the concrete. Utilized different tools and lab materials to assist with the success of both projects.

Apart of the Phoenix-Roadway Team. Managed two roadway projects in Arizona from design to start of construction. Utilized OpenRoads Desginer, AutoCAD Civil 3D, InRoaads, and other Bentley products extensively. Created all sheets, including the cover, design, geometric, plan and profile, and specification/typical section sheets. Cut and print sheets for project manager approval and signature. Called and communicated with a great deal of utility companies for the creation of utility coordination letters. Used prior experience to create KMZ files and demonstrate a map for project limits. Understood ADOT standards and specifics.

Accommodated superintendents/field engineers in and off the field, by prioritizing tasks with the designer/sub contractors and creating a better environment for workers in the field. Kept an evolving relationship with foremen and workers to become more integrated and understanding of company culture.

Implemented new and prior knowledge to utilize estimating software throughout numerous projects. Used OnScreen Takeoff, BlueBeam, and Excel to calculate material costs, operating costs, and overall projects needs. Communicated with many companies to gather data/estimates for possible upcoming bids to help with the overall estimate. Gave insight in bid meetings for crucial projects.

Stand in-superintendent on two major football field projects, from demolition all the way to laying the artificial turf. Developed repour with subcontractors while meeting with designers/architects on a daily/weekly basis. Assisted in shop drawings and file project management.

Worked on a variety of hotel and hospitality related duties including but not limited to, checking emergency lights, cameras, exits, and temperatures throughout the hotel, keeping the pH of the pool at standard using different tools and measurements, daily checks of the elevator room and utility rooms (gas, electric, water), working and fixing broken items in the rooms and keeping guests satisfied throughout the process. On top of these duties, I would assist housekeepers, front desk, kitchen staff, and management.
