Underwent a Masters Thesis in collaboration with VMware, Cork. My group members and I looked at inspiring innovation from the bottom up, looking at sustaining a culture of innovation, and the factors that boosted employee creativity.

Throughout my time as a Jameson Brand Ambassador I learned various skills and gained valuable experiences that will serve me well in the future. My role varied greatly amongst all departments, between the retail shop, whiskey bar, restaurant and providing tours to our guests that visited the Jameson Heritage Centre.- My main area of work was carried out in the Jameson Bar, where during business periods of the season potentially catered for between 900-1200 guests per working day. I would have carried out premium private whiskey tastings for guests in a private area for between 30-60 minutes, and a maximum capacity of 30 people, where all their questions and queries would have been catered for during a memorable experience. This experience stood to me in ways such as gaining valuable experiences and knowledge on how to connect with people from all areas of the world, developing excellent presenting and communication skills, and also improved my own confidence levels vastly to present my knowledge in such an environment.- I carried out tours on the old Jameson Distillery which usually consisted of a walking tour of the old site, taking up to 90 minutes to complete. My tour groups had a maximum capacity of up to 50 people at a time, from various different countries and languages, and potentially completing up tp 5 tours per working day. I found these to be of benefit on a personal level, greatly improving my communicating skills as they constantly had to adapted to suit the tour group, and proved to be hugely fufilling to provide such an experience for our guests at the time. - I also gained experience working in the Jameson retail store, providing customers with some insightful information on the various products that were on sale in the shop itself. The store is a hive of activity throughout the year, and would not be uncommon to take in sales of up to €25,000 in a working day.

- Providing a 5 star level of service to customers on a daily basis.- Performing a high standard of service during intense periods such as events of up to 300 people in attendance.- Developing excellent communication and organisation skills through interaction with management during busy periods.- Taking personal pride in a strong work ethic and personal appearance. - Handling and overseeing the management of large amounts of cash.- Assisting in the training and development of new staff members in the industry.
