Main Responsibilities as Drilling Fluids & Waste Management Advisor includes:•Supervise the work of the drilling fluid and drilling waste service companies engineers and supervisors in the field including receiving daily information from the service companies’ to ensure operations are according to prescribed programme and making periodic visits to the rig site to ensure proper application of the programmes and availability of the proper tools and materials needed.•Conduct HSE audits of relevant Operations sites during drilling campaign pertaining to cement, drilling fluids and waste•Review operational programs with the rig, field and office teams as required•Review and approve service company programmes related to drilling fluids and waste management.•Provide technical expertise to the operations team and participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving•Review daily fluids reports, Waste Management reports and attend daily rig calls•Ensure timely delivery of accurate and comprehensive operational reports and data•Ensures full compliance with government commitments and laws regarding drilling waste management.•Lead by example in driving performance culture, continuously assessing operational efficiency, identifying and sharing best practices, improvement opportunities and lessons learntMain Responsibilities as Fluids Technical Focal Point and Account Manager includes:•Provide technical support to the running of drilling and completion/work over fluids, on drilling and work over rigs•Participate in all well planning sessions and operations meetings•Prepare Drilling & Completion Fluids program for each well and ensure these programmes meets the objectives of delivering the well, HSSE incident free, without NPT and within AFE.•Provide technical reports on fluids performance after each well is drilled, capturing lessons learnt and Circulate to rig team•Daily operations follow up and ensure drilling and completions fluids properties and OOC are in the required specifications•Performed field visit as necessary to ensure programme compliance, assess onsite mud properties, Solid control equipment performance and assist with cement job as required.•Visits fluids plants as necessary to ensure fluids and products storage meet contract quality and specification•Monitor utilization of drilling and completion fluids chemicals to ensure optimal treatment with minimal wastage to prelude well problems and to protect Company interest manage drilling and completion fluids chemical cost and ensure all fluids related KPI’s are met.•
