The funding addresses high and persistent levels of deprivation and disadvantage through targeted and innovative, locally led approaches.The organisation also runs a Community Employment scheme for community childcare services, a TUS work placement scheme, supported by the Department of Social Protection, and a number of HSE funded initiatives, including a social prescribing programme.Other programmes available within the service include a Ukrainian support service; childcare services and rural development programmes such as LEADER; Rural Walks Scheme; Rural Social Scheme and a care and repair service to vulnerable elderly.
