My time at Ocean Trawling of Southern Africa enriched my expertise in managing diverse teams and adhering to maritime safety regulations. I developed strong communication skills, ensuring seamless operations between sea and land-based teams, and honed my ability to handle emergency situations round the clock. The role enhanced my technical leadership, involving dry docking, large-scale engineering works, and regulatory compliance, as well as the implementation of innovative technological solutions. Additionally, I gained valuable project management experience through overseeing significant vessel overhauls, digitising operational processes, and managing refit projects, all while maintaining budgetary and regulatory standards.

I established Paragon Collection, a bespoke furniture manufacturing Buisness, within my garage. This initiative, undertaken in partnership with a fellow student, provided a valuable opportunity to design, construct, and market custom residential furniture.

As part of my BA in Interior Design, we were required to gain a small amount of industry experience. Although the requirement was only for two weeks, I enjoyed selling furniture so much, as furniture design is a significant interest of mine, that I chose to stay longer.
