Assigned to Eagleford Unconventional Asset to provide Facilities and Production Engineering support to operations, projects, and field development groups.• Lead Engineer for installation of 32.5 miles of pipeline in our ETX field (EF/WB and AC), facility design (wellhead to central gathering/gas processing), and artificial lift system design.• Designed and installed H2S mitigation for all sour applications in the STX/GC region.• Supervised chemicals program for Eagleford Asset to maximize chemical efficiencies and well production.• Sole modeling engineer for STX/GC region for surface process simulations utilizing ProMax software.• Responsible for obtaining company-wide license agreement for modeling software – ProMax, Petrostreamz.• Responsible for the design and implementation of all gas lift applications in the STX/GC region. • Led HAZOP, MOC, and PHA associated with my projects and participated in multiple others.

Assigned to Permian Basin Asset to provide process/production engineering support to operations, projects, and field development groups. Main focus on EOR (water flood) field in Forsan, TX.• Key Role in projects forecasting for 20-year Permian Basin capital development plan.• Project Engineer for two new 75MBPD central tank batteries/water flood stations and associated well ALS.• Project Engineer for installation of a produced gas sweetening unit resulting in increased central tank battery capacity previously limited by environmental regulations resulting in a $15MM per year return.• Lead Engineer for various facility upgrade projects increasing central tank battery and water flood management capacities from 14MBPD to 100MBPD.• Project Engineer responsible for water injection automation skid design and installation. This included the installation of 120 injection skids to support field wide water flood management systems.• Lead Engineer for electrical infrastructure upgrade project to increase the capacity of the power system to support the future drilling programs.• Participated in multiple Latent Cause Analyses (LCA).• Led HAZOP, MOC, and PHA associated with my projects and participated in multiple others.

• Coordinated catalyst bed replacements including ordering over 190M lb of platinum CCR catalyst, 2.1MM lb of hydrotreating catalyst for CFHT, and 1.5MM pounds of hydrotreating catalyst for ULSD.• Project Engineer for installation of a hydrogen pipeline to the butane/butylene Hydro-Isom reactor to eliminate contaminants and increase the isomerization of the catalyst. 198% IRR (Return of $875M per year).• Followed Capital Budget Procedure for project justification of CCR furnace metallurgy upgrade re-tube work projected for upcoming turnaround in order to extend equipment life. $10MM project.• Optimization project to re-tray amine absorber utilizing advanced tray tech-nology allowing unit to run between outages and eliminate the need to cut re-finery crude rates between planned outages. Savings of $1MM per unplanned outage (Two per four year run – between turnarounds).• Single point of contact for EPA and TCEQ compliance. Coordinated numerous fired stack tests on incinerators and heaters associated with maximum throughput permitting for critical process units. Resulted in a 10% increase in refinery crude throughput.• Redesigned mist elimination systems in 16 Hydrogen Purification Unit vessels in order to eliminate costly environmental events leading to refinery shut-downs.• Revised Delayed Coker Unit’s naphtha export pipeline in order to increase throughput to Sour Crude Unit.• Six Sigma training and green belt attained.• Participated in multiple Root Cause Analyses (RCA).• Led HAZOP, MOC, and PHA associated with my projects and participated in multiple others. Created process monitoring simulations and schematics for optimizing oil refining units utilizing process data collection software and ASPEN Tech (HYSYS).

Assigned to fuels refinery plant site. Performed tech service functions relating to day to day process & project problem solving. Process engineering functions encompass monitoring unit performance, modeling unit operation, optimizing unit efficiency, originating operating procedures, and troubleshooting unit problems. Project engineering functions encompassed conceiving, justifying, designing, and implementing refinery projects for improving process efficiency, increasing product recovery, and complying with government regulations. Supported turnaround planning & associated shutdown activities as well as HAZOP reviews & associated follow-up actions. Unit assignments included Amine Sweetening and Regeneration, Cryogenic Hydrogen Pu-rification, HF Alkylation, CCR Reformer, Crude Treatment & Distillation, Distillate and Naphtha Desulferization Units, Claus Sulfur Recovery, Tail Gas Treatment, Sour Water treatment, and Aromatics Extraction and Purification.
