From being an intern to a correspondent reporter for the paper, I juggled part-time work for Manila Standard alongside my studies as a senior in college. I was assigned to cover sports games, press conferences, and other sports-related events. When the opportunity came up for me to write stories about tech and gadgets, I did not hesitate to try my writing hand on these topics, allowing me to contribute gadget reviews, attend tech-related events and such. During this time I honed my skills as a junior sports writer while enriching my sports photojournalism techniques until my formal job offer to join the company. As a content writer, I was tasked to produce and curate various content for a number of websites catering to dental services, entertainment news, real estate, and e-commerce. More than being a content writer, I also worked on some videos both through editing and as a videographer. In my short stint for this California-based company which had a remote office in Quezon City, I was also given the opportunity to become a virtual assistant or VA, a media coordinator, a road manager, as well as a PR or Public Relations writer for an entertainment personality apart from creating blogs and writing reviews for Reputation Management. In my time here, I also had the chance to develop my Social Media Marketing (SMM) and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills while helping to administer Facebook, Yelp, and other forum sites to create engagement. I was also part of a team tasked to create Wikipedia pages and Google Listings information for the company and its CEO. During this time, I discovered and learned how to write for SEO and how to create content that would boost impressions and searchability.

Experienced radio news writing as well as live radio broadcasting. I also learned the basic operations of a radio station here and its inner workings. Apart from these, I was also tasked to create web content for various topics which include agriculture, health and wellness, socio-economic reporting, technology, and government issues.
