I retired from teaching in 2013, after 37 years of being involved in education (apart from 6 months year break to take photographs and organise logistics. Highlights have been as a Deputy, a Headteacher and a work related learning coordinator.Eventually it became time for education and I to part company, however it was never my intention to stop working so I now spend time working for an agency at Crick where I happily wheel yorks about ( which look like the cages used to carry goods in suoer markets to refill shelves!) Sometimes sort mail, depending on demands that day. York Technician was suggested by a fellow worker who pointed out that whatever the position, we should realise its importance, remember without us you wouldn't receive your mail.Have also marked scripts,and SATS and proof read mathhematics texts for Research Machines and tutored maths students.Have chosen to update profile as many have suggested that formally it didn't really show who nI am.
