Senior Manager Of Facility Operations
I was overseeing a staff of over 15 managers and supervisors as well as the productivity of union shops (maintenance, carpentry & painters). I worked with the Finance Team to track the ongoing operations of maintenance and repairs of the facilities as well as strategically constructing a new budget for the coming year. I was responsible for creating the specifications for 3rd party service agreements such as janitorial cleaning, exterminating, metal & marble maintenance, wood maintenance, waste and recycling and consulting services. I worked with the Sourcing Team to secure pricing through a competitive bid process. I built teams of internal support departments as well as outside vendors in order to strategically arrive at a range of solutions that would address issues from client requests to more complex emergencies. Some of the other responsibilities were but not limited to;- Partnered with Corporate Real Estate on vendor/building issues, solutions.- Provided input with management leadership and Crisis teams on office closures due to inclement weather, building crises, acts of terrorism, and other emergency situations.- Coordinated all solutions with vendors/building management and internal support groups- Managed Office Services department responsible for the shipping & receiving of parcel packages, mail services, outside messenger services and shuttle transportation operation.- Review of all service agreements for which third party vendors are required.- Exhibited extensive knowledge of plant operations in order to develop maintenance policies and procedures.- Dedicated to being highly organized, accountable, and detail-oriented, in order to handle multiple initiatives and meet deadlines in a collaborative, dynamic environment- Demonstrated advanced problem-solving and technical skills
