As Golf Experience Manager at Jumeirah Golf Estates (Dubai Golf) I was responsible for the effective daily operations of the world renowned Fire and Earth courses. My success in this role was through coaching and mentoring all the departments involved in golf operations.In 2019 Jumeirah Golf Estates was awarded the Gold Flag status by the 59 Club (International Golf Club benchmarking organisation) for the first time in the club’s history and was also nominated for Best Golf Operations in 2019, the first time the club had ever been nominated.My goal was to provide five star golf experiences for all visitors and members, building loyalty and satisfaction.The role came about as a result of a career change which was facilitated by my love of golf and undertaking studies in Golf Club Management. Whilst Golf Operations is a new industry it has been a smooth transition due to my 20 plus years as a leader in the construction and Supply Chain industries.
