Complete a Study to provide the long-term water security solution for the on-site crushing, processing and mining teams. Greater Brockman Operations - Operational Readiness TeamProject managed the operational readiness activities for the construction and implementation of a $2.5B brown field expansion of an iron ore mine in the Pilbara, Western Australia (Nammuldi Below Water Table (BWT) Operations). New technologies adopted by the project included the world’s largest fleet of autonomous trucks (Komatsu 930E, 290t class), installation of a 90 Gl/a dewatering and agricultural pivot system, 21 Mt/a SOP wet processing plant, an additional rail loop and train load out.• Acting Mine Manager and Deputy Registered Manager for Brockman 2 and Nammuldi BWT Operations• Led the operational readiness activities for the Nammuldi BWT Project ensuring over $30M cost savings were realised• Design reviews included operability and maintainability issues and sufficient technical and operational rigour were considered and applied• Primary point of contact for Expansion Projects project managers and the EPCM area managers• Ensured regular and appropriate communication was handled across a wide range of stakeholders resulting in a more engaged site management team, which resulted in issues being dealt with in a timely manner during an increasingly difficult financial operating environment• Developed, coached and mentored project team members so that risks and opportunities were identified and actioned, resulting in schedule and cost savings Provided direct technical oversight to a small team of approvals, environmental, hydrogeology and mining professionals.
