My career as a senior level human service executive spans more than fifteen years, working in education, healthcare, social services, justice systems and private business in Europe and North America, with opportunities to influence developments in India, Kenya and the Caribbean. My career has been shaped by assignments that demand vision, innovation, best practice, growth and data-driven outcomes. This has enabled Peter to develop an approach to community development and in particular services that target education and young people in their successful transition to adulthood. My particular gifts include developing systems that deliver quality educational and leadership services that empower young people to aspire to and achieve their full potential. I have utilized these opportunities to bring together a dynamic network of agencies and talented professionals to envision and deliver excellence inl education, career, and leadership services, resulting in an array of innovative programs that include; after school, health & wellness, workplace readiness, career technology, mentoring, technology, leadership, life-skills environmental and cultural exchange programs. In these roles I have successfully managed the delicate balance between dedication to mission, the need for bold entrepreneurial initiatives, and the application of sound business decisions. I have led the development of capital investment initiatives in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, designing state of the art resources to deliver career education services that have been acknowledged as “visionary” programs, and have been acknowledged as demonstrations of best practice and have been recommended for replication in North America and beyond.
