I have been with PSB Academy Pte Ltd since it was known as SISIR back in 1994. In 1998, I was transferred out to join PEAC, serving the SMEs and MNCs. Over the years, I've watched it transform successfully into a Private Education Provider, serving both local and overseas students with Certificate to Diploma to Degree Programmes.During the transition period, and with the commencement of operational duties across the schools, I started to develop a very keen interest in Information Technology. Through self-directed learning, I began by equipping myself with a series of technical skill sets including fine-tuning /speeding up of periodic maintenance processes, as well as learning how to leverage on administrators’ IT tools that have since saved companies thousands yearly.At present, I’m supporting 300+ computers under the academic entity for training purpose and about 250+ computers under corporate entity supporting end user (EUC). There are occasionally last minute requests or issue the lecturer/users will have, which will require me to work beyond office hours or Remote Access from home during weekends.Through these years, I continue to remain driven and passionate within the Information Technology sector, and remain committed in delivering value to the company - offering reliable and timely support, achieving IT efficiency and attaining cost savings for the firm.
