Anglogold Ashanti - South Africa

Consulting for three and a half years for Anglo Gold Ashanti, primarily supporting their Global Business Process Framework and their OneERP implementation. Located in Johannesburg and provided business input for the design, configuration and implementation of their global roll out of SAP as an integral part of the OneERP program, and the subsequent development of Business Warehouse KPI's and reporting. During this period I spent 6 months in Ghana, project managing support systems implementation and assisted in the introduction of Integrated Planning in Brazil.

Responsible for developing the Business Case for the BHP Billiton - Olympic Dam Smelter Major Outage in 2010. Developed & implementing business processes & systems and led the Planning and Scheduling teams for a very successful Major Outage.

Responsible for developing and implementing maintenance improvement initiatives including cost management, planning and scheduling processes. Also led the Maintenance team for the Business Improvement Initiative, established the Smelter Maintenance KPI Dashboard, developed & implemented site Maintenance & integrity audits, managed the merging of two business units and led the design and development of the Maintenance requirements for the CITEC Uptime Program.

In my role as Group Advisor Maintenance Processes and Systems, I was involved in many facets of Asset Management, including leading a team to implement a very successful Maintenance Improvement Program, Leading the PM team for the first SAP Mining implementation across the Nickel, Gold Operations, leading the SAP Upgrade to 4.06C and providing WMC input into the merging of the WMC and BHP Billiton SAP systems (Project Unify). Other major achievements include leading the development of an SAP BW KPI solution, developing and implementing a Budgeting Process and guiding the Olympic Dam Smelter team through a significant performance improvement.

As a consultant with Facilities Management and working with our associated company O&O Systems, designed and implemented a Maintenance Management System (FIMMS) to support Qantas at Mascot Jet Base. Led a team to implement FIMMS, establish Master Data, develop and implement business processes and train the Qantas workforce.

Extremely varied range of asset management assignments, including educating the Portland Alcoa team in Maintenance Management, conducting asset management audits and advising clients on a diverse range of maintenance management practices.

Canberra

Employed by Facilities Management - a consulting company based in Canberra, I led a team to develop and implement the BHAMMS maintenance system, establish master data, set up the Preventive Maintenance Program, develop and implement maintenance processes and train the New Parliament House workforce

Worked across many plants within the Port Kembla Steelworks complex, culminating with acountability for all maintenance aspects for the Sinter Plant. This was an extensive "hands on" period with primary responsibility for day to day maintenance function as well as planning, managing and executing all outages.
