Peter is a seasoned board leader serving on public company and not-for-profit boards. Peter serves on the board of Dycom Industries, Inc. (DY), a leading provider of specialty contracting services to the telecommunications industry. He serves as the audit committee chair and on the finance committee. In addition to the Dycom board he currently or has previously served as board chair for prominent national and local charitable organizations. This includes the Orange Bowl Committee; the Platelet Disorder Support Association, a national blood disease patient support organization; and Chapman Partnership, a leading homeless services provider in South Florida where he recently completed 14 months as Interim President and CEO. In addition, Peter is the immediate Past President of the National Association of Corporate Directors, Florida Chapter.Peter retired from Deloitte in 2019 after 41 years as an accomplished business executive and Senior Partner spanning numerous leadership roles. Peter served as industry leader for Homebuilding, charged with market expansion and brand ambassadorship; Southeast region Financial Advisory Practice Leader, setting the strategy, business plan, and leading talent acquisition and development for what was, at the time, a start-up; greater Washington Partner in Charge, Audit and Enterprise Risk Services, where he held operational oversight with P&L, performance, and client satisfaction responsibilities; and as the Office Managing Partner for Florida and Puerto Rico, the equivalent of business unit CEO. The Florida and Puerto Rico practice had over 2,000 professionals with offices in Miami, Boca Raton, Lake Mary, Jacksonville, Tallahassee, and San Juan.Peter has worked with numerous public, multi-national, private, and private equity companies advising their C- Suites, boards of directors, and their board committees on enterprise strategy, growth, innovation, operations, succession, M&A/IPO events, and risk/mitigation issues offering solutions across audit, tax, risk advisory, and consulting services. Industries range from real estate, financial services, and construction to healthcare, pharmaceutical, and telecommunications.
