Senior Finance Manager, EMEA at Salesforce

My role as Assistant Manager in PwC involved the following:• Auditing financial statements (IFRS, US GAAP & Irish GAAP) of Investment Funds (Hedge Funds, Money Market Funds, Mutual Funds & Private Equity Fund of Funds). • Managing & reviewing the audit from planning stage until completion, liaising with Clients (Investment Manager and Administrator at all stages of the audit process), and preparation of statutory Financial Statements in accordance with relevant GAAP• Performing controls testing, including review & documentation of SAS 70's at various fund administrators.• Supervising and training of junior staff, combined with an ability to direct and review work of less experienced team members.• Working in a team environment, motivating others and communicating regularly with various parties at different levels. This involves working to pressurised deadlines and requires great flexibility.

Awarded a place on the Ernst & Young Summer Internship Programme. Experience gained working in the Industrial, Commercial and Technology Tax (ICT) department and the Indirect Tax Department (V.A.T.)
