Current research has been in the area of non-destructive damage detection. The primary goal has been to explore methods of simulation and analysis, producing a practical damage detection algorithm. This project as relied heavily upon:- Finite Element Analysis utilising Abaqus/CAE- Numerical Analysis through MATLAB- Extensive scripting through Python Programming Language- Formation of mathematical theory through solid mechanics
