Lead role towards developing the Vision and Purpose of the Ericsson towards 2030. Work across a wide range of discipines within Ericsson and with external partners to create and activate the narrative towards multiple audiences. Frequently represent Ericsson at external events and active contributor to articles, blogs and videos. Continue developing ecosystems with industry, academia and start up partners to develop use cases and concepts that benefit industry and society towards a broader geography. Sponsor of a number of intrapeurner start up concepts linked to, such things as, healthcare, tourism, manufacturing and the environment.

Key responsibility is to look at the overall customer requirements across Europe and Latin America and Ericsson portfolio and examine ways of developing strong customer engagements and recognition of the leading-edge technology Ericsson provides.Support both digital and traditional marketing campaigns predominantly linked towards 5G. This has led to numerous joint presentations and demonstrations at various high-profile events and the publication of a number of white papers. Lead the creation of a strong and diverse ecosystem with both industry, academic and start up partners to develop use cases in an environment which is driven by a co-creation way of working which has been extended to other countries to create 5G eco-systems.

Role requires regular customer interaction, at all levels, to understand the needs from a business and technology perspective and to then identify both technical and commercial solutions and/or services to best meet these requirements and drive further sales within the region. The role also has the responsibility to acquire and share knowledge at all levels both internally, at external events or with customers. Virtual leadership of over 24 direct reports has increased and developed my existing skills and experience through communication, collaboration and benefiting from the high level of diversity within the team. Active lead role on various 5G plans within Europe which involve cross functional discussions with government bodies, start up companies, major industry players (Microsoft, Intel, Sony, ABB), academia, and operators

Virtual leadership was also a key requirement to orchestrate the collaboration of a multi-disciplinary team that is geographically dispersed to support the development of competitive value propositions

Accountable for a diverse and highly skilled and experienced team (circa 100) delivering all Ericsson, and in part non-Ericsson, products and solutions. Product and Solution portfolio cover all network elements and services including OSS/BSS, Core Network, Transmission elements and RAN (4G, 3G and 2G). Regular cross functional working with the product units and internal service providers within the UK and globally. Act as single point of contact for several major projects towards the project including SRAN introduction, MVNO introduction and voicemail enhancements.

Accountable for the Front and Back Office functions within the managed service towards MBNL (Parent companies 3 UK and Everything Everywhere) 3 ROI and Vodafone UKResponsible for a large team circa 200 qualified engineers with a diverse range of skills and experience to provide first, second and third lines support for fault management.

Accountable for the design, development and planning of the UK radio network and ensuring that the network quality meets the increasing demands of our customersSet direction for development changes of network capabilities working closely with suppliers, Global and other OpCo teams that meet both marketing and operational requirements; represent VF UK at customer meetings acting as a technical advisor Influential member of the senior management technology community within VF UK and Global; contributor to the department’s strategy and decision-making processes.
