Peter Raimondo is a senior building enclosure engineer and associate director for Auckland at Oculus. With a solid engineering foundation and a wealth of building knowledge from his experience in investigating and remediating building envelope problems, Peter is an active industry contributor, spokesperson and commentator within the engineering industry. From his building science podcast to hosting and speaking at seminars and conferences, he is always looking for ways to share his knowledge and improve the building and construction industry as a whole.Peter trained in Canada and has experience working on a range of commercial buildings including retail, medical centres, community housing, serviced apartments, and public spaces such as halls and libraries, using building science to find and fix leaks, optimise thermal performance and eliminate condensation. Peter holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Toronto, Canada. He is a chartered professional engineer in New Zealand and is also a licensed professional engineer in Ontario, Canada.
