Linnell Designs - Provided 3D CAD modeling and technical drawings for their end customers as well as ongoing collaborations for current projects.Electramatic - Custom designed a retrofit "automated machine operator" controlled remotely through a PC. The prototype has been completed and is currently in its first production run.X Farms - Utilising mechanical design skills and experience to develop a custom solution to automate the cultivation of mushrooms on an industrial scale for a vertical farm. During the project, I established a working prototype to evaluate the design methodology and approach to the proposed solution. I developed the solution from concept to final design iteration where the solution was installed into the already standing structure.Key highlights:Designed custom production equipment for a cutting-edge vertical farm that utilises a helix inside abandoned grain silos to grow/process various produce, mushrooms, and compost. Compiled design requirements, took field measurements, and engaged with lead engineers on specific functional requirements of the machine.Developed a prototype to evaluate the design functionality and reliability of each functional station of the machine while adhering to the internal design process and documentation.Utilised feedback from prototyping activities to enhance current and future designs.Created fabrication of detailed drawings and delivered complete documentation including operational manual.Identified suitable fabricators, selected purchase parts, and PLC and control cabinet contractors.

Undertaking mechanical design and analysis for a range of completed machinery instances for customers who required custom packaging and manufacturing solutions. I have delivered solutions which have successfully satisfied complex customer requirements and led to an increased volume of sales for the product line I have developed and delivered. I am able to engage with customer representatives at all levels and create design specifications to suit their individual needs.Key highlights:I managed and designed a profitable custom custom graphic card packaging machine which reduced the labour required to complete the packing process from 8 operatives down to 1. The product was exceedingly popular with the customer, who placed an order for multiple machines which provided an additional $1.6 million in sales for the company.Responsible for undertaking machinery design, detailed drafting assemblies, and optimising design for manufacturing to result in a more cost-effective solution.Developed a custom conveyor solution for a customer who required a fast turnaround time of 2 weeks. Acting as a consultant for a large multinational chemical cleaning firm I developed a product to combine chemistry with a strict space requirement. I developed the project from concept to final design iteration where I completed my work with detailed engineering drawings.Key Highlights:Developed a product for the healthcare industry to combine 2 chemicals and coat polypropylene wipes on demand within a wall mount dispenser. The dispenser accurately combined ratios down to 100/1 with consistency and reliability. The project consisted of multiple design iterations including the feasibility testing of 3D injected moulded parts. The project concluded with drafting engineering drawings for plastic parts tooling.

• Attended the C# .NET Apprenticeship Program through the Software Guild - a fast-paced, 60 hour/week course that prepares attendees for full-stack software development.• Floor Ordering Application: Developed a C# order management business application that provides full CRUD functionality and allows users to add, edit, display, and remove orders. The C# program taught us the ability to write to a repository for testing purposes as well as write to files to update order, product, and tax information. The software also uses dependency injection via several different interfaces.• Bank Database Application: Created a C# banking application with multiple workflows for different account levels (Free, Basic, and Premium) and uses factory-based development methodology for efficiency. The application has functioning BLL, Data, and UI layers and has full unit testing capabilities.• Battleship Game: Utilized C# and the .NET framework to develop a fully-functioning game of Battleship with functioning BLL and UI layers. The C# Battleship program also utilizes NUnit to perform comprehensive unit testing.• Vending Machine Application: Explored RESTful web development by creating multiple projects, among them a Vending Machine application built using Javascript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and Jquery. The application connects to a server to retrieve product information (name, quantity, price, etc.) and allows the user to “purchase” an item with inputted money before updating the server product information.• Utilized software version control and group communication with Git and the Atlassian suite of products (Bitbucket, Fish Eye + Crucible, and JIRA) to provide project updates to instructors.Technologies Used: C# .Net, Visual Studio 2017, NUnit, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Jquery, Bootstrap, ASP .NET, ASP MVC, SQL Server, Bitbucket, JSON, REST, Git/Github.
