I support efforts to build New Zealand's long term resilience to significant national security threats and hazards.Previously:Advisor in DPMC's Strategy Unit. Senior Policy Advisor in MBIEs Financial Markets Policy team. Foreign policy officer at NZs Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, working for its United Nations, Human Rights and Commonwealth Division. Major focus on World Health Organization issues and the intersection between artificial intelligence and foreign policy. Before departing, my focus was on the Ukraine war and was a member of the Ukraine Task Force. Participated in the emergency co-ordination centre (intelligence function) in the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic.Aside from my policy roles, I have extensive research experience and a strong background in science and health, highlighted by my PhD aimed at developing a novel pre-clinical model of autism. I am interested in large-scale problem solving and wish to use my analytical and communication skills to make a positive impact in society.
