The QLD / NT Maintenance Manager is responsible for all maintenance activities throughout Queensland and the Northern Territory. The current machine population is 185 units of plant spread across 29 sites with currently 22 different customers in the diverse areas of Coal, Gold, Zinc, Lead and just recently the civil construction markets. This role requires effective leadership, management of maintenance activities across project sites in QLD and the NT along with the maintenance facility in Paget and the field service division in Mackay.Actively promote and work with the OHS Manager to ensure the work teams understood the OHS management plan and maintained a high level of compliance. Monitor, manage and report on the fleet performance both commercially and actual availability and reliability metrics. This information was delivered to the QLD rental manger on a weekly and monthly basis.Always thinking of innovation and strategic plans to reduce costs and improve the cost, quality and timeliness of the service provided.Work closely with the QLD Asset Manager to ensure all maintenance activities be it minor maintenance or major expenditure activities are being carried out inline with the budget and the plant life cycle.Coordinate monthly meetings to liaise with OEM representatives to discuss product issues/improvements, product support and warranty concerns.
