Utilized Transit Oriented Development as part of a community outreach team of 8 in order to more effectively develop centrally located land in Andover, MA.Researched other similar towns, specifically medium-sized Massachusetts suburbs, who recently employed Transit Oriented Development techniques in order to determine an effective blueprint for new transit-oriented development projects.Conducted public charrette workshops with approximately 75 residents to brainstorm new ideas for development, compile public feedback and build excitement for the future revitalization.Proposed and succeeded in passing the formation of the Andover Historic Mill District, a new zoning overlay district near the Andover commuter rail stop.
