I am an interface between clinical departments and IT. I work with clinicians and care providers to develop long term life cycle management and support strategies for critical applications. I design the network architecture for applications, database environments, desktop / web / SAAS solutions to meet users needs and fit within our environment. I am also developing and supporting a cost transparency solution that provides leadership with specific detail to streamline business decisions and assist IT in fast response and coordinated effort with the business. I provide a 3rd level support for critical applications, supporting servers, network, end point devices as well as all processes that affect our clinicians ability to provide patient services. I work with all IT departments, DBA's, infrastructure, desktop, application packaging, and development teams. I also manage vendor relationships and ensure maintenance, support, contracts and business agreements for our critical applications are maintained.

Jan 2016 - May 2016 - I managed a data center move project migrating core network WAN / LAN, Firewall / VPN, SAN, and compute infrastructure. I managed relations with over 30 vendors and efforts of over 50 employees with 700 high level tasks. We accomplished this with minimal disruption to the business and made vast improvements to reliability, security, redundancy and capacity for the organization.Sept 2015 - Dec 2015 - I managed a range of network infrastructure upgrades and migrations, consolidations, virtualization and application upgrade projects. Jan. 2015 - Aug. 2015 - I managed the discovery, schedule, internal and external resource requirements, end user impact, implementation plans, post go live support and DR planning for a Windows 2003 server retirement project. I was responsible for the procurement of hardware, software, and labor resources. I reviewed quotes, statements of work and business associate agreements to protect the organization and assure we met our objectives. I lead a team of 2 other coordinators in this effort.Oct. 2014 - Jan. 2015 I successfully organized and coordinated a hardware upgrade project replacing 500 desktops and 170 mobile carts focusing on patient care areas. This work included meetings with key stakeholders from inpatient units and clinics, creating documentation for technicians, and managing the project team’s day to day work.

I managed server, network and storage infrastructure. I organized and implemented numerous upgrades of the virtual environment, SAN, and server hardware. I designed and deployed disaster recovery to an off site location. I developed and designed an extensive VDI environment for front facing staff, labs and power users. I helped analyze and implement security measures to insure PCI compliance. I managed a wide range of server operating systems from Windows, SQL and linux variants.
