With over 30 years experience in IT and a range of sales roles, I have a broad range of skills and experience. Starting with software development in New Zealand in the early 80's, ranging through national, corporate and international account management and including working on major sales projects in the UK and Europe.During the 96/97 financial year my personal sales target was $50,000,000, which was achieved.Since returning to New Zealand in 2002, I have founded and managed a number of businesses which has been an interesting learning experience and not always successful. Trying to sell yachts during the global financial crisis was challenging.I have competed in a number of sports at a club level, swimming, badminton,cycling and sailing. I have been racing yachts for over 40 years, from small dinghies to 50' race yachts, including the Fastnet (2001) and Sydney/Hobart (2005) offshore races. I have also cruised extensively with over 10,000 blue water miles logged.My wife and I still own Spheric Red and I still take care of most of the day to day operation of the company but we have decided to sell off most of our rental properties and my main focus is project managing the build of our new home in the hills above Matakana.Specialty Qualifications: RYA Yachtmaster, PADI Divemaster
