In my role at GDS Estates, I've had the privilege of overseeing a transformative period within our portfolio of select commercial properties across East Anglia. Faced with the unique challenges posed by pressures like the Covid-19 pandemic and the shifting landscape of high street retail, we've embarked on a journey to adapt and redevelop our properties to meet the evolving needs of the community.My passion lies in navigating the delicate balance between heritage preservation and the imperative for economic and social change. This dynamic has been particularly captivating in one of our flagship redevelopment projects. During my time as a ski instructor and ski school operator in the picturesque Rusutsu Resort, I recognised a need for accessible English information for the growing number of international visitors. In response, I founded Ski Rusutsu, a platform dedicated to providing essential insights and guidance for snowsport enthusiasts exploring this hidden gem of Hokkaido.Ski Rusutsu quickly gained popularity and became a trusted resource for hundreds of visitors, ensuring they had the information they needed to make the most of their time in Rusutsu. It was a rewarding endeavor that contributed to the local community and enhanced many holiday experiences.

After my first season as a ski instructor, I transitioned into the day-to-day operations of the ski school. This role exposed me to diverse challenges, including matching instructors with clients, motivating and training instructors, and ensuring customer satisfaction. It was during this time that I began to see the potential for technology to enhance the delivery of snowsports education, and the ideas behind Snoverse began to take shape.
