I was working for the railroad in 1985 when I decided to combine my enjoyment of photography with my fascination of computers and writing. On Oct. 28, 1985, the first edition of ‘the 6600 Burlington Express’ was published for Havelock Shops in Lincoln. I put out the newsletter every Monday, giving employees some motivation for the week. After some time of working double duty, for the railroad and publishing the newsletter, I decided to branch off and start my own company, News Link.Throughout the years, News Link has grown into a national company, serving clients of all industries. We have created and demonstrated our specialty – to gather and publish your news – to the point where if you hire us to do it, we will do it and do it right. We will find out what your standards are, learn to use your terms and will become part of your company to put something together that will make you proud.At one time we were a print-only company, but now everything we do is available through digital media. We do video, social media, websites and e-blasts, along with our printed newsletters. Each individual who worked for us helped develop our different products and created the success of News Link.Whether we’re going around the corner in Lincoln or flying across the United States, our goal is to make a difference wherever we go. It’s a privilege to do this work, highlighting companies and helping prosper their goals. I’m extremely grateful to be able to do this work.
