- Identifying areas for improvement in the operational technical guidance available to staff and acting on these using appropriate channels.
- Triage requests for guidance received into the team, where appropriate responding to case-specific queries and providing advice on the correct course of action to take or escalating to your manager where appropriate.
- Develop effective and collaborative working relationships with team colleagues, the wider department as well as external stakeholders.
- Supporting and contributing to the creation and updating of technical guidance for departments across the organisation.
- Careful consideration of the relevant legislation, including but not exclusively the MCA 2005, and MoJ/OPG policies to ensure an accurate and consistent service is provided to customers.
- Ensuring any internal guidance is consistent with externally published guidance, operational policy and legal advice.
