About Peter Robinson
Several years ago my wife and I established a Charitable Foundation with the aim of supporting organisations who provide services to vulnerable women and children particularly housing, indigenous education and training, education for other young marginalised people. Our aim going forward is to expand the Foundation over time and the organisations we are able to assist. Prior to establishing the Foundation, for more than 20 years I led and delivered large scale infrastructure, PPP / PFI and resource projects across Australia, New Zealand and the UK. In the role of Project Director it has encompassed origination, bidding, financing, negotiation, execution, as well as project delivery, ongoing management and as a project company board director. The role involved managing large bid teams c.100 plus people from a variety of disciplines. This experience has resulted in acquiring skills in banking and equity investment in projects, management of complex projects, extensive people management and risk management. Over the past 10 years this experience broadened through working for developers / contractors / asset owners including Leighton Contractors and Electricite de France (in London).Arising from this background, I have strong relationships with contractors, banks, investors and funds, financial advisors and government clients.
