I am an Experimental Aerodynamics Engineer with a Masters in Aerospace Engineering currently working at Leonardo Helicopters, looking for an exciting and challenging opportunity, with the ability to offer an innovative and open outlook for new design, testing and manufacturing solutions. As an experimental aerodynamicist, with industry, academia and teaching, and motorsport experience, and with practical wind tunnel test design, wind tunnel operation, technical facility management and test campaign experience, I have excellent project management, organizational and leadership skills. These are demonstrated with my experience as Experimental Aerodynamics Engineer at Leonardo, with work on large wind tunnel test campaigns and major redevelopment projects including new balance systems, data acquisition systems and testing methods. As Head of Aerodynamics on the rapidly improving UWE formula student team I have 4 years’ experience of manufacture, aerodynamic design and development and large-scale wind tunnel testing. My knowledge and experience of design for experimental aerodynamics and wind tunnel rig development is also demonstrated by the focus on this in my Masters group dissertation. Additionally, working as the lead aerospace technical instructor, supporting students and with time, budget, equipment, and teaching responsibilities, I have developed my motivation, mentoring, coaching and interpersonal skills whilst continuing to develop and improve the application of my engineering skills with practical and successful results. However, I am always looking for areas and ways for improvement. I believe these are key benefits for successful teamwork and are good experience for working with you.
