I was able to create a small self-owned business using a platform on Facebook known as Facebook Marketplace. Using the platform, I was able to acquire insight into what consumers demanded depending on the time of year as well as external factors. I would then find products through external retailers where I believed would have high demand, then sell said products to the millions of users surfing Facebook marketplace, providing a wide variety of product options as well as providing excellent customer service. In an effort to create a seemingly passive income stream, I was able to understand the supply and demand of consumerism as well as enhance my customer service skills. This process is otherwise known as Drop-shipping.
