Responsible for developing food, colour, flavour and nutraceutical products from natural sources to meet customer needs. Development from inception (laboratory bench scale) to full commercialisation using extraction, filtration, water removal and analysis techniques (HPLC, UV-Vis).

Responsible for liaising with the wider innovation, operations & quality team to scale upnew development products from the bench to pilot plant. Supervised the pilot work to ensure the scale up was successful and helped present the new product to management or customers in an easy to digest format. Used my experience and evaluation skills to optimise plant processes wherever possible.

Oversee shift to ensure the high quality and efficient production of food products. Responsible for ensuring quality and safety policies followed by all employees and keeping the plant operating to the required high standards.

Responsible for operating & cleaning process equipment to ensure the production of high quality food products.

Initially based in the lab, gained an array of practical and theoretical oilfield experience in areas including:• Integrity Management (electrochemical corrosion techniques, H2S scavenger/biocide testing)• Flow Assurance (Scale, hydrate, wax and asphaltene testing)• Separation Control (demulsifier and deoiler development)• Water/Gas Treatment (purification, sweetening)Involved in field work to complete practical project work around the globe, visiting some of the largest oilfields/process plants in the world (both on and offshore)
