About Peter Rose
Team management, creating productive and committed teams. In recent years I have been driving our DevOps team in transforming our organic developed legacy cloud infrastructure towards a more organised and structured setup.I have been helping teams deliver, motivating and couching them, to move from intention to action. Striving to make individual team members take responsibility for the teams’ success.Always leading by example in order to ensure progress and delivery of the right infrastructure for the 3 developer teams we are working together with.It has been very important for me that all team members have felt included in the process and comfortable with the transformation so that they could concentrate on ensuring the quality and delivery of our software and products on time. With more than 45 products, over 2000 cloud services and about 150.000 unique daily users, this is quite an impressive achievement by all our 42 team members. We have gone from a hand-held creation, maintenance, and monitoring approach to a fully automated IaC cloud setup while keeping all services up-and-running and dealing with the small daily challenges that happen from time-to-time in any large complex organisation. 𝑷𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒕:In my free time I am creating a large SoMe platform. It is a community driven platform where people can meet and connect with other people from all around the world, and it therefore supports multiple languages. It is heavily image driven but also very dynamic so that the user experience is never the same. The platform is completely free to use, and the users are in full control of both their own data and who should be part of the platform. To help me with the project I have assembled a small international team of experts that currently consist of three UI/UX designers, two marketing professionals, and 21 translators.
