I'm a recent Baruch College's Zicklin School of Business Graduate and a current Media Planner. I have always had a passion for media in any shape or form; movies, books, magazines, TV shows, you name it and I probably have a spiel for it. Since childhood, I have always dreamt of working within Media in whatever capacity I could, just to be adjacent to the things I love for a living. Media planning has proven to be a perfect combination of my passion and practical skills in a number of ways:- Being in a fast-paced role where analytical skills are required in order to be able to solve problems and get things done as efficiently as possible- Seeing each plan as a puzzle that needs to be solved, with a new set of constraints provided each time by different clients.-Getting to be in a client-facing role where I'm able to use my people skills in a positive, helpful and friendly mannerOf course, it doesn't hurt at all that I get to be surrounded by people who share the same passions as me and don't mind a quick break to chat about what they're reading/watching.
