CHEP Pallecon provide Intermediate Bulk Containers, Liners and Ancillaries to all sectors of FMCG, packaging, Pharmaceutical and cosmetic and personal care products. In this role Peter was responsible for all Operations, Logistics, Safety and Quality areas with and annual spend of Operations and logistic for circa $18M. Whilst in this role Peter has delivered improvement in on time delivery, safety and quality whilst restructuring the Supply Chain team through the centralization of the quality team, moving the logistic function to a central transport execution and carrier management function as well as delivering better planning tools. Overseen the migration of ERP systems to SAP from a supply chain perspective and the migration of ISO 9001 to the 2015 standard as well as the business achieving a BRC AA rating.

Reporting to SVP of Global Supply Chain for CHEP Pallets, Peter was responsible for standardising the safety approach across the pallet business and improving the safety performance through robust strategies leading towards it's goal of Zero Harm.During his tenure in this role Peter oversaw an 84% reduction in total reportable incidents in its established business and 78% reduction in the newly acquired business units, launched Global Near Miss reporting system, doubling the number of reports, delivered a Best Practice sharing platform, revised Global Auditing Process, devised a global safety machinery guarding standard, delivered 250+ third party operation safety cultural assessments, delivering a Pedestrian Segregation program to drive 100% segregation between pedestrians and vehicles as well as developing a safety strategy to help deliver sustained safety improvements for the following 3 yearsPeter was also responsible for Brambles group reporting and management of central group projects and initiatives such as a central safety reporting system, third party operations surveying, central safety marketing initiatives and KPI development.
