Peter is a Chartered Accountant with over twenty-five years of management experience - the majority of that in the professional services sector.Peter is recognised for his positive and informed approach to substantial and often complex problems and the ability to focus teams on the issues that matter.Initially working as a CA in business advisory and audit Peter moved to finance/company secretarial and management roles in the wholesale and retail building sector and later, semi government authorities.For the last 18 years, Peter has been involved in the professional services sector (legal and accounting) overseeing the major functions including reporting and compliance, IT as it relates to intellectual property and the efficiency of firm processes. Assessment of remuneration models for Partners and the successful management of merger opportunities. Peter is an experienced manager of risk, governance and the human resource of an organisation particularly as they relate to its culture and direction.He is recognised for his influence on the development of a client service and practice development ethos in professional services firms and the strategic relationship it has to the core values and objectives of the firm.As the General Manager of a mid tier legal firm in Adelaide Peter was founding chair of the Management and Finance committee of the Law Society of South Australia (prior to A.L.P.M.A.) and has lectured in the Law Society’s Graduate Development Programs on management, human resources, administration and marketing. Peter has also presented at the Law Society of South Australia PD and Country Forum's includuing a number of Webinars. Peter is a current facilitator for the Institute of Chartered Accountants Public Practice Program and delivers PD in house on a range of topics to Legal and Accounting Firms.For many years was was also the LOCUS (a legal practice management system used extensively in Australasia) user group chairman in South Australia
