Another new and challenging role!I have made the change from Materials to Assembly. This group has 4 Team Leaders and 34 Team Members.We are in charge of assembling the doors for the RAV4.The first 2 weeks in this role were spent in an offline Kaizen Group. We rebalanced several items and processes through out the line, improving efficiency and reducing.

Woodstock TMMC builds the RAV4.I ran a Materials group with 7 Team Leaders and 68 Team Members and over 1600 different parts.This group is called SPS (Set Parts Supply), which is where parts are picked to go into kit boxes which are then sent to line. Each kit box has the options required to build each vehicle as required.I am in charge of Safety, Quality.
