I am a Mechanical Engineer specialising in Numerical Control Programming and Mechanical/Structural Design with experience primarily on CATIA V5 (15,000+ hours). I have been employed as a Mechanical/Structural Designer, NC Programmer, Tool Designer or Manufacturing Engineer. I hold citizenship for the United States and the United Kingdom. For over 20 years I have been working for Airbus and Boeing as well as several aerospace firms that are first tier suppliers to them. My manufacturing experience has spanned 15 years and includes Integrated Produce Development (IPD) of commercial and military aircraft components. I have been directly involved in the planning and execution of Numerical Control (NC) Programmes for metallic and composite parts. I have designed manufacturing tooling and fixtures for composite autoclave parts, cockpit frames, landing gear door actuators and a wing folding mechanism.I have also spent 12 years working in design teams for a variety of objectives. I have participated in the design and assembly of an aircraft wing for structural and fatigue testing, dealt with design integration issues concerning electrical/hydraulic placement within the aircraft structure and have produced detail drawings and assembly drawings on Catia V5. I have also worked on aircraft maintenance and assembly issues using Delmia, designed aircraft interior suites and unmanned air vehicle (UAV) components. I have the experience and confidence to consider myself eligible for aircraft design or manufacturing positions. I am adaptable to changing software and evolving design and manufacturing techniques. I am self-motivated, can work independently and conscientiously.
