With co-intern, produced Capitol Hill: Public Spaces + Public Life, a public space analysis of the Capitol Hill neighborhood. Analyses visualize GIS-based data and field data collected using Gehl methodologies. A companion document, Capitol Hill: Public Space Pilots, builds on these analyses and proposes public space activation pilots for underutilized spaces.Documents produced in cooperation with Community Roots Housing and the Seattle Department of Transportation. Currently finalizing.

Focus on human-scaled urban public spaces. Produced concept diagrams, models, renderings, and other drawings. Internship partially funded by the Scan|Design Foundation.

Report editor for 2017/2018 year, partnering UW Livable City Year and the City of Tacoma. Included content and copy editing duties. Worked with fellow editors and graphic designers to develop frameworks for best report writing and editing practices.

Laboratory and field technical support. Studied plant pathogen-Streptomyces spp. interactions in plant rhizospheres and relationships between mycotoxin production and pathogen virulence.Provided training to graduate students and undergraduate student employees in lab and field settings.

Researched the cellular immunology underlying several autoimmune diseases, with a focus on T Cell phenotypes at the onset Type I Diabetes, in support of the Type I Diabetes TrailNet Natural History Study. Also provided technical assistance on a range of projects investigating the cellular immunology of multiple sclerosis and scleroderma.

Studied interaction of the Mixed Lineage Leukemia (MLL) protein with other complexed proteins, with a focus on immunohistochemistry.
