 Assessment, diagnosis, treatment of patients’ physical illnesses and injuries from infancy through geriatric populations in a culturally and socioeconomically diverse Level I Trauma Center Recognition of patients’ emotional and mental health needs Order, execute, interpret diagnostic studies and tests to further investigate patient complaints Safe clinical interventions at bedside within scope of practice; including, but not limited to: • Digital blocks• Laceration repair• Incision and drainage• Small joint reduction, injections, aspiration• ACLS and airway management Directed and coordinated high quality patient care with nursing team during acute visit  Patient education on treatment options, plans, continuity of care for acute and chronic conditions Mentor and preceptor to aspiring and new physician assistants Close collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare team including psychiatric emergency department Referral process to specialists as needed Pharmacological treatment within DEA and prescribing privileges  Electronic Medical Record; EPIC Service recovery as needed to maintain or exceed patient satisfaction benchmarks

 Sole on-site medical provider for 30 bed inpatient post-traumatic stress disorder unit Close collaboration with psychiatry team for optimal holistic patient outcomes Direct medical management of complex patients with acute and chronic medical conditions Oversight of daily healthcare team Led morning multidisciplinary rounds Prescriptive pain management and alternative intervention education Assess, diagnose, order and interpret diagnostic studies, write and implement treatment plans, document findings and outcomes  Smoking cessation counseling
